A fairy tale about the theater

On the Great Stage of the National Theater in Mostar on Friday, June 13, 2025. , the comedy "Fairy tale about the theater" by Vladimir Đurđević, directed by Ferid Karajica, will be played, starting at 8 p.m.

"The Tale of the Theater" is a satirical comedy that humorously points out the reality of contemporary society, with a special focus on the neglected position of culture and theater. Through characters and dialogues that reflect the absurd attitudes of the political elite, the play shows how art is suppressed, manipulated and used as a means of propaganda. The play reminds us of the bitter reality, criticizing the passivity of the people and the authoritarian attitude of the government towards freedom of thought.

Set design and costume design are by Sabina Trnka. The cast consists of: Saša Oručević, Emir Sejfić, Amela Kreso, Jasmin Krpo, Dragana Matrak

The ticket price is 10 KM, with a discount of 5 KM for pupils, students and pensioners.
