Poetry collection "Sand in the Eyes" - Rezak Hukanović

As part of the event "Mostar Reads Again", the Mostar National Library is organizing the promotion of the poetry collection "Sand in the Eyes" by Rezak Hukanović. The promotion will take place on April 16, 2025. in the premises of the Readers' Club of the Mostar National Library (Luka) starting at 6:00 p.m. In addition to the author, Željko Ivanković will also speak about the collection. The life path of this talented artist was not without challenges. At the beginning of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Rezak Hukanović was captured and transferred to the Omarska Concentration Camp. After difficult times, in November 1992, he was released from the camp and temporarily settled in Norway with his family. The promotion of the book "Sand in the Eyes" is an opportunity for the audience to become acquainted with the depth and emotional power of Hukanović's work. His poems touch the hearts of readers and listeners, leaving them with a strong impression and deep thoughts.
