Carnival procession on the streets of Mostar 2026

As is tradition, this year the Mostar majorettes are organizing a parade on the occasion of the carnival.
We are proud of the fact that the Mostar Carnival has become an unavoidable winter event that our residents...
they are greeted with joy and sent off by numerous generations of both children and adults.
The date of this year's carnival procession is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, starting at
12:00 pm. The parade, as in all previous years, will be led by the Mostar Majorettes, and the parade will also feature

This year's carnival theme will be "Dancing Heroes of Our Childhood".

a procession of memories, emotions and values that we carry with us from childhood.
So, in our procession we will find the well-known character Puss in Boots, who teaches us to always be brave and
daring for our goals and leaves aside whether we are "small" or "big", King Julien who reminds us that
joy of choice and that fun can be found in everything, Kung Fu Panda that shows us how strength comes from
mind, that perseverance and hard work always pay off, Minions who teach us how much stronger we are when we work together and how much
diligence is an essential virtue and finally the Ninja Turtles who show that loyalty, kindness and friendship are the foundation
of everything, because without it one cannot become human!
We are happy that this year the little ones from the Mostar Kindergarten Institution will join the parade with their
units: Mrvica Kindergarten with the Children Who Read, Conquer the World costume, Rodoč Kindergarten which this year will
present with the topic: Snails and kindergarten Tinker Bell with Aunt: Muffins.
We are glad that this year Cim Elementary School joined us with the 2nd grade of teacher Arijana Marić.
Kordić with the theme Grapes and winegrowers.
The procession will move from Rondo in the direction of King Petar Krešimir IV Street (new promenade). The procession will then
turn into Kralja Tomislava Street. The procession will move along the mentioned street until the intersection with Kralja Street
Zvonimir. The procession will continue its defile along the aforementioned street and turn into Kralja Tvrtko Street all the way to Rondo.
i.e. to the Croatian Home of Herceg Stjepan Kosača where the end of the procession is planned.
The Videoton car sound system will also participate in the parade.
The parade will end in front of the Herceg Stjepan Kosača Croatian Home, where all official participants in the procession will
be able to treat yourself to donuts thanks to donors from the Suncokret, Mlinar and Nam-pek bakeries.
In case of bad weather, the procession will be extended and in that case the public will be informed in time,
the organizers said.
