Mediterranean Film Festival

Twenty documentary films – ten feature-length films and ten short films – chosen by selector Zdravko Mustać will be included in the competition program of the 26th Mediterranean Film Festival, which will be held in Široki Brijeg from October 7 to 11, 2025.

The selected titles include world premieres, as well as films that have already won awards at prestigious international festivals. The best will be decided by two three-member international juries – one in the feature film category and the other in the short documentary category. The best feature film will receive the “Grand Prix of the Festival”, while the best short film will receive the “Best Short” award. The festival audience will also have the opportunity to vote for a special award.

In addition, the award "Best Camera" is awarded under the auspices of the Association of Videographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASBH), which will be decided by the members of the Association.

This year's competition program brings diverse film stories from the Mediterranean and beyond, offering the audience a unique insight into the reality, challenges, and inspirations of contemporary documentary film.
