The City of Mostar successfully presents itself at the International Economic Fair Mostar
2026, which will take place from April 14th to 18th, through a rich and eventful program
focused on promoting cultural heritage, tradition and modern tourism tools
Herzegovina.
In a joint effort of the City of Mostar and the Tourist Board of the City of Mostar,
special emphasis is placed on the authenticity and preservation of cultural and historical
heritage. The fair stand was profiled as an experience space in which visitors have
opportunity to get to know the traditional clothing of Herzegovina, see handicrafts and realize
direct interaction with cultural heritage bearers.
On the very first day of the fair, as part of the opening ceremony, special attention was drawn to
members of the HKUD "Sv. Ante – Cim" and the KUD Bijelo Polje from Mostar, whose performances and

The central part of the program so far was realized on Wednesday, April 15th in Pavilion 2,
where a thematic panel dedicated to contemporary approaches to promotion was held

On the same day, an interactive workshop on traditional embroidery and weaving was held, in
organized by the HKUD "Sv. Ante - Cim" Mostar (Zlatovez section) and the Vrba Women's Association.
The workshop attracted a large number of visitors of all ages, who had the opportunity to meet
basic handwork techniques, participate in the creation of your own works and experience them firsthand
experience the richness of intangible cultural heritage.
Through all the activities so far, it has been confirmed that tradition and cultural heritage can
successfully integrate into modern tourism trends, especially through digital platforms
such as "Don't Miss Herzegovina", which offer a new way of interpreting the destination i
