The Mostar Puppet Theatre participated in the 9th Small Puppet Festival Pupica,
which took place from August 27th to 30th in Dubrovnik and Cavtat, organized by the Cultural
Aster society. The festival once again brought together numerous artists, theaters and fans this year.

The Pupica Festival offered a diverse program over the four festival days –
puppet shows, storytelling, creative workshops and meetings with artists.
The program took place in various locations and open spaces, making the puppet show
art has emerged from the classical theatre space and has become closer to children and families in
different places.

an ideal end to the festival which, over four days, proved that for the magic of theatre

This year's Pupica brought together artists from different backgrounds, including, in addition to
our Puppet Theatre Mostar, as well as the Puppet Theatre Zadar, SKD Lipa and others
artists and storytellers. After the festival ended, the organizers emphasized that they
almost all events were well attended, and some programs were filled to capacity
last place.
For the Mostar Puppet Theatre, this visit was another opportunity to
presenting the Mostar puppet scene outside Bosnia and Herzegovina and continuing
successful cooperation and connections with theaters and cultural organizations in the region.
