Mostar majorettes in the period from December 27, 2025 to January 3, 2026 had the honor of participating in another European tour, this time at the festival 64. Cavalcade de la Saint-Sylvestre in the city of Saintes, in the west of France. It is a festival that has traditionally been held for 64 years and is one of the largest New Year's festivals in France.
The city of Saintes is located in the French region of Poitou-Charentes, which is famous for its New Year's festival. "Cavalcade de la Saint-Sylvestre", which takes place every December 31st, is widely known. Like many festivals we had the opportunity to visit, this one also delighted numerous visitors with large sculptures that were carefully crafted months before the festival. They, together with the festival groups, adorned the procession and left a strong impression on the audience. Each sculpture, but also all the participants, were specially lit and in harmony with the atmosphere of New Year's Eve. Costumes, thematically decorated trucks and a large number of participants made this procession truly magical.
The central sculpture of the festival was a character from the film Avatar, 14 meters long and 7.5 meters high – a real moving monument that delighted visitors, but also us participants. Incidentally, the Avatar figure was declared the best figure at the Nice Festival in 2025 and, as the winning sculpture, was given the honor of adorning this year's Cavalcade in Saintes.
The festival was attended by 12 teams from all over Europe, and according to official data from the organizers, it was visited by more than 25,000 people.
This tour had a special significance because it was organized in the year in which our club celebrates 30th anniversary of the founding. The year was conceived with an emphasis on travel, so we, when we are from our agency FV Production received an invitation to end the year by participating in a festival in France, right on New Year's Eve, and were extremely happy that we could say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one together. 2026.
We traveled on tour together with With mining music Kakanj, with whom we collaborated for the first time and with whom we fit in perfectly. We were also the only representatives Bosnia and Herzegovina at this international festival.

With this tour, the Mostar majorettes have once again, in the most beautiful way possible, promoted their Mostar, the county, but also the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina through dance."
In addition to the official part of the tour, we also visited two beautiful cities – Milan, which delighted us with its beauty and charm, and Turin, where we also enjoyed the beauty of the city and a full-day sightseeing tour.
