Culture, as an important characteristic of the inhabitants of the Bijelo Polje area of Mostar, has been actively represented since 1946, when the then "Social House" was built. Over a long period, this building was an expression of the needs of the local people, a center of cultural, entertainment and other social activities.
Due to the accelerated way of life, as well as changes in people's socio-social habits, the need for the reconstruction of this Cultural Center and its contribution to the needs of cultural associations in the area of Bijelo Polje, i.e. Potoci, inevitably arose.
Thus, in 2018, the design and reconstruction of the dilapidated cultural building in Bijelo Polje was started. The result was an impressive, modern multimedia building.
The large hall with balconies now has 350 seats, the capacity of the stage has been increased, a modern system of lighting, public address, video surveillance, equipment, as well as communication in and around the space has been created.
In addition to the reconstruction of the main hall, a conference hall, a space for practice and rehearsals, a large foyer suitable for the organization of exhibitions and presentations, a large number of offices adapted to work in modern conditions, a large parking area and substantial outdoor furniture were built.
