Announcement of the play Janko and the Magic Beanstalk

The Mostar Puppet Theatre opens its doors to its visitors this weekend and enters a new era.
season 2025/2026.
As in all previous years, we are preparing a variety of events for our visitors in the coming period.

We are opening the season with the play Janko and the Magic Beans, which will be performed in two parts, on Friday
September 26th at 6 pm and Saturday September 27th at 11 am.
Director's word:
Janko and the Beanstalk is one of the most popular fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. It tells us about a lazy and
to the naive boy Janko. Who, using a magic bean, sets off on an adventure and wants to become fast,
brave and strong. With beautiful dolls and a comical character, it teaches us self-sacrifice and independence.
The performance is rich in various puppetry elements that, with their animation and play,
they stimulate creativity and imagination in the audience.
The play stars: Marta Haubrich, Ivan Nevjestić, Ružica Bošković and Tibor Oreč.
