Work has begun at the National Theatre in Mostar on a new play titled "The Mayor or This is a play about Mujaga Komadina"<\/strong>, by Adnan Lugoni\u0107, directed by Dina Mustafi\u0107.<\/p>

"Starting work on the play" 'The Mayor or This is a play about Mujaga Komadina'<\/em> for me, it is both an artistic challenge and a personally important moment. Adnan Lugoni\u0107's text bravely and intelligently opens up questions of political responsibility, collective memory and relationship to the city's heritage, using the figure of Mujaga Komadine not as a historical monument, but as a living dramatic problem of our time. Lugoni\u0107 wrote a layered, witty and provocative play that Mostar reads from the inside, but speaks the universal language of contemporary society. For me, the fact that I am directing for the first time at the National Theater Mostar has a special emotional weight for me - in a city whose symbolism is deeply inscribed in the cultural and political map of this area. I perceive this play as a dialogue with the city, its past and its possible future", said director Dino Mustafi\u0107.<\/p>

The scenography and costume design are by Adisa Vatre\u0161 Selimovi\u0107, while the music is composed by Mirza Red\u017eepagi\u0107.<\/p>

The cast consists of: Izudin Bajrovi\u0107 (kg), Sa\u0161a Oru\u010devi\u0107, Faris Pinjo (kg), Emir Sejfi\u0107, Armin Filipovi\u0107, Emir Spahi\u0107, Amela Kreso, Dragana Matrak Bukvi\u0107, Emina Toplovi\u0107 (kg), Jasmin Krpo and Vedran Vilogorac.<\/p>

The premiere of the play is planned for the beginning of March. The audience will have the opportunity to peek into the process of creation of a play that brings to life an important Mostar story through social networks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
