The technical virtuosity displayed in the song will make any passionate musician stop and take notice, while its joyful atmosphere and playfulness are sure to invite the audience to the dance floor. It is this combination of deep musicianship and creating songs that appeal to a wider audience that has become her trademark.<\/p><p>&quot;Drive Complaining has that odd count in the first chorus that usually confuses drummers. Drawing on a deep connection with her frequent collaborator Arturo Menezes, she also enlisted Robert \u201cSputa\u201d Searight \u2013 an artist whose legacy has inspired generations. The result reflects her dedication to bringing together voices that not only elevate and explore music, but also infuse it with confidence and joy.<\/p><p>&quot;It means a lot to me that incredible musicians like Artur and legends like Sputo believed in this music and brought their magic to it. Artur and I have been collaborating on different projects for a while now, including his latest EP covers, vol. i, which I produced and played bass on. We have a real chemistry on stage and I really love working with him.&quot;<\/p><p>The Brazilian-born bassist, composer, bandleader and producer has a busy year ahead of her. Pops is grateful to have had the opportunity to perform these songs at the iconic EastWest Studios, alongside the musicians she gathered to capture this momentous occasion.<\/p><p>&quot;This session set the bar for my future shows and what I want to continue to build from here.
