Tonight, for the first time in Mostar, the film Sniper Alley – To My Brother was screened in the Mostar Cultural Center, as part of the international cultural event Mostar Summer 2025.

Sniper's Alley - My Brother is a documentary film about Džemil Hodžić and his deeply personal and emotional project "Sniper's Alley", which gathers authentic photographs of world-famous war photojournalists, taken during the siege of Sarajevo (1992-1996).

Džemil Hodžić dedicated the film to his brother Amel, who was killed during the siege of Sarajevo, who loved to draw and dreamed of becoming an artist, as well as to all the children who continue to dream despite surviving the horror of war.

"This is the first time that I have been a guest in Mostar as the author of the Sniper Alley project, as well as the first time that we have screened a film in this city, but I hope it is not the last. I am truly honored to be here tonight, especially since the authors of the film are not with us, so the responsibility is on me to present the film and the project. I am honored to be in heroic Mostar. What I do, as well as the project itself related to the siege of Sarajevo, is deeply connected to Mostar, which went through something similar, and even worse. That is why I sympathize with Mostar almost as much as with Sarajevo," Hodžić emphasized.

The film was directed by Cristiana Lucia Grilli and Francesco Toscani, owners of the production studio Creative Motion. It was supported by OBC Transeuropa and the Naples Human Rights Festival, and executive produced by Ognjen Dizdarević.
