"Mostar Summer 2025: The Mostar Puppet Theatre staged the play Mostar, City of Light"<\/p>

As part of the Mostar Summer 2025 event, and organized by the Mostar Puppet Theatre, a play was performed
the play "Mostar, City of Light". "Mostar, City of Light" is a play directed by David Zuazola,
Chilean director with an address in Spain. The project is a novelty in Bosnian and Herzegovinian theater, considering
concept and method of work. The play, whose set design was created by the actors together with elementary school students,
maps Mostar and important city buildings, creating a replica of the city on stage.<\/p>

City of Light tells the story of the city, its recognizable values, and the light it radiates.
carried by its people, those who created this city and were its greatest value, but it also speaks of
that there were and are those people who wanted to extinguish its light and destroy everything urban in it.<\/p>

Ned\u017ead Maksumi\u0107, artistic director of the Mostar Puppet Theatre, points out: "The play City of Light
it was created in collaboration with the Chilean director David Zuazol, who was in Mostar for about three months,
learned about our city, and some of it taught us about the city we live in. This is a play about the city
light, about Mostar as it was and as it can be again. This is a play of remembrance, a play in
in which object theater mixes with puppetry, in which the live play of actors tells a story about history
of the city, about what makes this city a city and what this city could one day be again. It is
a play starring members of our acting ensemble."<\/p>

Maksumi\u0107 adds that this play was a big challenge considering the international production
headed by Zuazol, who, as he emphasizes, conveyed an enthusiasm to everyone and was an incentive for even greater ones

The next event within the Mostar Summer event is the Traditional Exhibition "Small Format". The exhibition
will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Mostar Cultural Center starting at 8:30 p.m.<\/p>
