Performance – The Nest

“The Nest” is a play about the troubled relationships between three sisters and three brothers who, on the anniversary of their mother’s death, suddenly open up about a painful topic – what to do with their shared house, which has been seriously damaged by the ravages of time. While some want change, others try to argue why it is not possible. Torn apart by family secrets, unrealized loves, war scars and excess maternal love, they can only produce distrust in the puddle of their own immobility, speaking very openly about the (im)possibility of communication and mutual (mis)understanding. This play is one of the most successful plays of the HNK Mostar, and this is confirmed by awards such as the one at the International Festival “Jurislav Korenić Days” in Sarajevo, where it won the award for the best play overall, and the same award at the International Actor’s Festival “Zaplet 11” in Banja Luka.�
